NURSING ASSISTANT

To be eligible for enrollment in the NA program, the prospective student must meet the following requirements:

  1. HS diploma, GED, or its equivalent (recommended, but not required) – Institutional
  2. Level 2 background and drug test (clinical site & state exam) – Clinical
  3. Physical examination by a MD, ARNP, D.O, or PA (varies per Clinical site) – Clinical
  4. Immunity from MMR, Varicella Zoster, and HBV (or signed HBV declination form, varies per Clinical site) – Clinical
  5. Negative TB test (PPD) or chest x-ray within the past 12 months showing no active TB or communicable disease processes (varies per Clinical site) – Clinical

HOME HEALTH AIDE

To be eligible for enrollment in the HHA program, the prospective student must meet the following requirements:

  1. HS diploma, GED, or its equivalent (recommended, but not required) – Institutional

PRACTICAL NURSING

To be eligible for enrollment in the PN program, the prospective student must meet the following requirements:                                               

  1. HS diploma, GED, or equivalent, or official transcript – Institutional
  2. Physical examination by MD, DO, PA, or ARNP (varies per clinical site) – Clinical
  3. Level 2 background check and urine test (varies per Clinical site) – Clinical
  4. Proof of professional liability insurance, after program acceptance and throughout the program – Institutional
  5. Immunity from MMR, Varicella Zoster, and HBV (or signed HBV declination form, varies per Clinical site) – Clinical
  6. Negative TB test (PPD) or chest x-ray within the past 12 months showing no active TB or communicable disease processes (varies per Clinical site) – Clinical
  7. ATI TEAS cumulative score must be 60% or greater and students can attempt the test 6 times in a calendar year. There is a mandatory 45 days waiting period between attempts; OR the HESI A2 cumulative score must be 75 % or greater and students can attempt the test 6 times in a calendar year. There is a mandatory 45-day waiting period between attempts – Institutional
  8. Interview with the Director of Education – Institutional
  9. Finalize payment plan, if applicable – Institutional

MEDICAL ASSISTANT

To be eligible for enrollment in the MA program, the prospective student must meet the following requirements:
